Our Lab

The Complex Environmental Systems Lab (CESL) is a research facility on UBC’s Okanagan Campus. We study ecosystems and landscapes as complex systems, building models that can help us to better understand the interconnectedness of humans and their environment.

We are located in room 133 of the Science Building on UBC’s Okanagan Campus.  Our lab has received infrastructure funding from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation and we opened the doors to our newly renovated space equipped with high performance workstations in 2014.
