Reflections on landscape stewardship

lake

In May 2013, Dr. Lael Parrott participated in a workshop held in Kingston, Ontario and hosted by the Frontenac County Landscape Stewardship Council.  The workshop resulted in a report summarizing the group’s recommendations for how to achieve a resilient and sustainable landscape.  The report is written for a general audience and can be downloaded here.  While written for the Frontenac County, the recommendations in this report are widely applicable to all Canadian landscapes, including the Okanagan.
